The dinosaur museum in Drumheller was amazing and the
trip through the badlands was equally as impressive. We
travelled on to Edmonton where we spent a full day at
Edmonton Place Mall - the girls now consider themselves
water slide experts! On to Camloops and through the
Rocky Mountains. Once again we were all impressed with
the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. From
Camloops we made our final trip into Victoria crossing
from Vancouver and taking the ferry through active pass
and docking safely in Victoria. We are now safely at
our hotel in Victoria waiting for the next big
transition. Enjoy the photos!
We continue our trip West...

We have seen so much in just a few days it is quite
amazing. From Thunder Bay we went to Kenora (with a
small water slide at the hotel) then onto Winnipeg
(with a much larger water slide at the hotel) and then
Regina (where the water slide was even bigger) and then
onto Drumheller Alberta. Along the way we have seen a
40 ft high statue of a Musky in Kenora, been to the
Winnipeg Children's museum,to a living farm museum in
Saskatewan and soon will be off to see the amazing
dinosaur museum in Alberta. These are just a few of the
places we have visited and hopefully our pictures will
give you some idea of the fun we are having at all our
stops along the way.

We had a great time at the cottage! Many days of sun
and fun. We spent a day hiking in Algonquin park as
well as spent time visiting friends and family. Thanks
to all for the great times, great food and the use of
laundry facilities!! The shed is complete and storing
our belongings for our time out west.
We have begun our trip West making our first stop in Sudbury. We visited the mining museum and were able to go underground and learn about the history of mining in Sudbury. According to the guide, horses/ponies were never used in the mines but mules were used - a relief to our horse lover.
We have continued our trip west making a few stops along the way - Sault St. Marie and WaWa and will end our journey for now in Thunder Bay.

We have added a page on the Cottage which will be
filled in with more photos every 3 days or so.....it is
our little space to kick back and relax.
We have had a great week at the cottage with fun, sun and construction. The girls have been living in their bathing suits and spending lots of time in the lake - on the new raft, tubing behind the motor boat, swinging off the rope into the water, or just splashing around.
The girls are thrilled to have their friend Emily (from the cottage next door) up from Brampton visiting this week and adding to all the fun.
Sean and Cecelia have spent time time cleaning up and constructing new additions - the raft was the first project - and a great success - now the new storage shed is underway.
We experienced some stormy weather and had to deal with the resulting two day power outage!! We have experience with such things and managed just fine, but we were very glad when the power came back on.
Books are also being enjoyed - Cecelia is glued to last 100 pages of Harry Potter Half Blood Prince!! Alanna is enjoying her summer fix of comic books. Frances is reading with Sean before bedtime.
More updates to follow as we find a few moments to add to photos and adventures.
